Aloo curry with lemon

Ingredients:
  • Potato : 4
  • Onion: 1 (optional)
  • Green chilies : 5
  • Ginger : 2 inches piece
  • Coconut powder : 2tb sp
  • Lemon Juice
  • Salt
  • Turmeric: a pinch
  • All ingredients of Tadaka or talimpu

Procedure:

  • Boil potato using microwave or in pressure cooker.Chop boiled potato, onion and keep aside.
  • Grind green chilies, coconut powder,ginger, salt into paste.
  • In a kadai add oil,and prepare tadaka.Now if you want to use onion , add onion and fry them till they are done.
  • Now add chopped potato,turmeric, green chili paste.Cover and let it cook for few minutes.
  • Take off from the stove and add lemon juice.

Serve with rice and dal.

Bajji Masala


Ingredients:

  • Mirchi Bajji : 5
  • Poha : 3 cups
  • Roasted Ground nuts : 1/4th cup
  • Putnalu(Roasted channa dal) : 1/4 th cup
  • Onion : 1/2
  • Lemon juice : 2 tb sp
  • Salt
  • Red chili powder
  • Cilantro : 2 strings

Procedure:

  • Chop onion and cilantro .Cut bajji into small peices.
  • In a mixing bowl add onion,salt, red chili powder and mix well.Add lemon juice as well.
  • Mix well.Now add putnalu,roasted ground nuts,poha, bajji and mix well.
  • Garnish with cilantro and serve.

Oats Dosa

Ingredients:
  • Oats : 1 cup
  • Rice flour : 1/4th cup
  • Sooji : 1/4th cup
  • Green chilies : 4
  • Onion : 1 small
  • Cilantro : 3 strings
  • Salt
  • Oil
  • Water : 2 cups

Procedure:

  • Grind oats to fine powder.In a mixing bowl add oats powder, rice flour, sooji,salt and water.Mix well.Let it rest for 15 min.Chop green chilies, onion and cilantro.
  • Now add green chilies, onion and cilantro.On hot griddle, add few drops of oil and spread oats batter and prepare as normal dosa.

Serve hot with any chutney.
