- Sorakaya : 1/2
- Tomato: 1
- Toor Dal: 2 cups
- Onion: 1 small
- Green chilies :6
- Tamarind : small lemon size
- Salt
- Mustard seeds
- Cumin seeds
- Hing
- Urad Dal : 1 t sp
- Curry leaves : 2 strings
- Oil
Procedure:
- Soak Toor Dal for 20min.Chop sorakaya,tomato,onion,green chilies.
- Pressure cook Toor Dal and all chopped veggies till Dal is soft.
- Keep the cooked Dal on low flame and add tamarind and enough salt.
- In a small kadai, put tadaka or talimpu and add it the cooked Dal.
Serve with rice and papd and few drops of ghee.
