- Apples peeled and diced : 3 cups
- Sugar : 1 cup
- Lemon Juice : 1 1/2 t sp
- Water : 2/3 cup
- Saffron strings : 5
- In a vessel, add water and sugar. Let it boil till the mixture is almost about one string consistency.
- Now add diced apples and let it cook till water evaperates in it.
- Add lemon juice and saffron strings and cook.
Let it become cool and store it in glass bottle and refrigerate.
