Alasanda vadalu

  • Alasandalu\Black eyed Peas : 2 cups
  • Onion : 1
  • Green Chilies :4
  • Cilantro: 1/4th bunch
  • Salt
  • Oil : for deep fry


  • Soak alasandalu for 3-4 hrs.Once they are done, grind into batter not as smooth paste along with green chilies and salt.
  • Add chopped onion, cilantro and mix well.
  • Heat oil in deep kadai for deep fry.Take a small ball of batter and press as vada and slowly drop in oil.
  • Fry them till they turn into brown color.
Serve hot with tomato ketchup or any chutney.
