Pesarattu(Whole moong dal dosa


  • Whole Moong Dal or Pesalu : 1lb

  • Rice : 1/4th cup

  • Cumin seeds : 2 tb sp

  • Salt


  • Soak whole moong Dal for 12 hrs in water.Grind the soaked Dal,rice not as soft as dosa batter.Adding rice to dosa makes dosa crisp.

  • Once grinding is done add salt, cumin seeds and mix it well.

  • Take dosa pan and put as normal dosa.Add chopped onion,ginger,green Chile pieces .Add oil and bake it .

  • Take that into serving plate.

I served with tamarind chutney and Channa Dal chutney or Dalia and Peanut Chutney.
